Roleplay God

Roleplay God (RP God, RPGod, "RPG") was an open roleplay tournament for e-wrestling characters from any fed, held four times between about 2000 and 2004. Entrants were drawn into four regional brackets, North, South, East and West. Each pairing wrote roleplays against a deadline, judges picked the winner, and the four bracket winners met in a finals section. No community ran it: it had its own web addresses and changed hands between editions, with community figures as judges and partners.
"RPGod was probably the biggest e-wrestling event of the year and everyone cared about it."
— Jack Valentine, Primetime Central forum, 20 June 2004

What this archive holds
Roleplay God's sites were never saved whole. This archive preserves what has been located in the Wayback Machine's copies of its three addresses and in the Primetime Central forum: 36 roleplays (21 from RPG2's East bracket and 15 from RPG3's North bracket), the RPG2 site's news, rules, judges and roleplay board indexes, the RPG3 partner page and winner's image, and the RPG4 sign-up page. The brackets themselves were Flash files and have not been located, nor has anything from RPG1's own site.
Characters who also appear elsewhere in the museum are linked to their bios there. The About page gives the history in full, with the evidence for each part of it.
